W lipcu br. dotarły do starostwa niepokojące sygnały dotyczące stacjonowania karetki w Baniach Mazurskich. Po interwencji starosty gołdapskiego Andrzeja Ciołka i sekretarza powiatu Marka Mirosa u wojewody warmińsko-mazurskiego Mariana Podziewskiego, uzyskano zapewnianie, iż karetka w Baniach Mazurskich pozostanie. Jest to dobra wiadomość dla mieszkańców, gdyż likwidacja tego zespołu ratownictwa w Baniach Mazurskich mogłaby spowodować poważne zagrożenie ratowania życia i zdrowia pacjentów.
